Though, this is one of the few places I've been quiet. I've spent the past two months being extremely vocal and active in other places, including Twitter, which I've never used much before (except when on vacation). I've attended my local Women's March, and I'm hoping someone organizes a local Science March (I'll organize if… Continue reading Sorry for being quiet
Later today, or at this point, fuck it, maybe even tomorrow, maybe I'll take all day today (it is 2:30am after all) to process what just happened in my country and try to decide what to do next... ... at some time later, I will begin to move forward. Not on, but forward. I already… Continue reading I’ve just spent the last two hours crying…
I’m just gonna leave this here.
I’m going to keep this brief, because I have a life to live. But if someone tells you thatdiversity is “destroying polytheism” please show them this.
Dear Concerned Party,
You are being shown this blog post because you seem to think that diversity is contrary to Polytheism. You want to set up a Polytheist Community wherein only certain types of Polytheists count.
I’m just going to start by assuming that you have never taken an Anthropology 101 type course, and that your grasp of ancient human cultures is extremely limited. Forgive me. Hi CHS. Celestine here. You probably don't know me; well, maybe you do, after the past couple of days. I haven't exactly been silent. For the record, I am addressing the individuals in charge over there at Cherry Hill Seminary. I know some of your names, and I don't know others. Just know that when… Continue reading An Open Letter to Cherry Hill Seminary
In accordance with the promise made in this post, I have been looking at my "Topics for Blog" folder, and deciding which ones I'm likely to write in the near future. So, here is a list of upcoming blogs from me: War Goddesses: Specifically, Athena and the Morrigan. I actually started writing this one a… Continue reading Upcoming Blog Posts
So, I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that I received an acceptance letter to UNT as a non-degree seeking student for Fall 2016. This will allow me to take a few leveling classes so I'll be eligible to apply for their Masters in Speech Language Pathology program. I… Continue reading A Request and a Promise
I am not smart.
Sometimes, the idea of Paganism as a religion of freethinkers and free spirits does more harm than good, in my opinion. Which is not to say people shouldn't be those things, but it's okay to be those things and also like a bit of structure.
Unconditional love is just that: love without conditions.
